I simply can’t recommend them highly enough. They are dream team. When people come into our house, they are in love with our kitchen. We are too!   Charles and Dan provided me with answers to every question I could think of, clear instructions for processes I didn’t understand, as well as a plethora of well vetted professional contacts (engineers, lawyers, landscape architects) for ever step of the project. They also acted as liaisons on my behalf and spearheaded communications with the CoH. This saved my countless hours of searching and emailing, as well as saving me money by helping me to secure well priced and efficient contacts. All of this would have made working with Gateway Group well worth the price by itself!
  Sadly, after all the conditions had been met for the severance the City of Hamilton completely dropped the ball on finalizing the project. Here, Charles and his team went above and beyond the call of duty. They were relentless in holding the CoH’s feet to the fire with constant emails and phone calls and even eventually formally escalating the matter to the head of city departments after deadlines and promises had been missed and broken repeatedly.
  Overall, I am beyond grateful that I partnered with Gateway Group on this project. I could not recommend them more highly. I believe the value they provided was at least 5x of the fee that they charged was. If you are doing any real estate project in Hamilton that you are considering seeking professional guidance on, I can confidently say choosing Gateway Group is the absolute best decision you can make!

  They arrived on schedule, communicated clearly … More about the work they planned to do and consistently reviewed progress with us at the end of each day/week. If they saw a potential issue, they brought it to your attention, shared what their concerns were and brought alternative solutions. They took pride in their work and we had no damage to other areas of our home.
  We actually started our renovation with another company, and unfortunately, despite the reputation and experience of the previous company, they did not have the skills and knowledge that Gateway Group provided. Cory identified several issues done by the previous contractors that potentially saved us thousands of dollars of damage had they not been addressed. Cory and Matt thoughtfully considered how to correct the multiple code violations and achieve the build as per the design plan.
  Renovating 100+ year old homes, especially when starting on a 40% completed renovation comes with multiple challenges. Gateway understood the assignment, executed it flawlessly and were genuinely enjoyable to work with.
